HUAYUAN has introduced the LR245S Solar-Powered Roadshow Truck, a new model developed for outdoor promotions, mobile exhibitions, and touring events. The truck combines a hydraulic stage, LED display, solar panels, battery storage, and backup power in one vehicle.
Developed using HUAYUAN’s existing roadshow truck design and manufacturing experience, the LR245S adds a multi-source power system to a mobile presentation platform. The new configuration gives event organizers and equipment buyers more flexibility when planning activities at locations with limited or inconsistent access to electricity.
The LR245S uses an established roadshow truck structure, with the main development focused on integrating solar generation and energy storage into the vehicle’s electrical system.
The truck features a hydraulic stage with a nominal deployed size of 6,000 × 5,400 mm and a 5,440 × 2,560 mm LED display. These systems provide space for presentations, product demonstrations, promotional activities, and live video content.Rather than developing an entirely new vehicle platform, HUAYUAN has retained its existing approach to hydraulic stage operation, LED display installation, and onboard equipment integration.
The solar power system has been incorporated into this layout while maintaining the truck’s primary roadshow functions.
The LR245S is designed with six 680 W solar panels, providing a total installed solar capacity of 4.08 kW. The electrical configuration also includes approximately 20 kWh of LiFePO4 battery storage and a 15 kW integrated solar inverter with energy management functions.
The system is designed to prioritize solar power when sufficient energy is available. Battery storage supplements the supply when solar generation cannot meet the connected load.
A 16 kW diesel generator provides additional power when required. The energy management system is configured to support automatic generator starting when the battery reaches a preset low-charge threshold. External three-phase power can also be connected where site electricity is available.This arrangement allows the truck to use different power sources according to operating conditions rather than relying on a generator throughout every event.Actual solar generation and operating time depend on sunlight, LED brightness, audio and lighting loads, air-conditioning demand, and other connected equipment.
The LR245S combines its power system with the equipment needed for mobile presentations and promotional activities.
The hydraulic stage provides a working area for speakers, product demonstrations, and small performances. The integrated LED display can show advertising videos, event information, presentations, and live camera feeds.
By keeping the stage, display, and electrical equipment together on one truck, the design reduces the need to transport and coordinate separate systems.
The solar and battery configuration also provides an alternative power source for events where permanent electrical connections are unavailable or inconvenient.
